Perched on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, the lighthouse at Amphitrite Point gazes out across the Pacific Ocean. Standing stoically against storm waves and Northwest winds, she enjoys some of the loveliest sunsets in the world.


'Amphitrite' is the only lighthouse in the 'Light My Way' series not painted from the sea. The rocks and reefs off this stretch of shore do not let Island Prism close- so I followed the footsteps of the lighhouse keepers who would hike from Ucluelet to the light each day.
